The building is located in the hospital complex of Pamplona, a pavilion from the s. XIX, immersed in an environment of certain scenic interest, surrounded by original hospital pavilions and new constructions. The program folds to the geometry of the rectangular plot, forming a subdivision similar to the old pavilions of the enclosure.
Access to research uses is organized from the hospital compound offering secondary access to offices and administration from the opposite courtyard on its more urban façade.
