Tax included

This monograph includes the production of the architect Josep Llinás Carmona from 2003 to 2012.

The works presented here are a great example of the quality and master of architecture produced by who possibly is one of the best contemporary Spanish architects.

The works of Pepe Llinás are rooted in the context solving the urban problems from the commitment of the form, as a result of an intense and extensive work of investigation to obtain the best of the possible solutions. Geometry disappears as a mandatory and mathematical entity to become a rule, as a result of studying the multiple possible variations that solve a problem. His work exceeds what is strictly communicable by the constructed building, since it is notoriously important the process followed to understand the reasons of the final solutions.

In music, the notion of variations on a theme as research has the advantage that they can be all played successively, the only limit is time. In architecture only one particular variation takes shape, leaving for the viewer the task of reconstructing all the music that is missing, but which can be implicitly intuited in the natural complexity of the final building.

As a good disciple of Alejandro de la Sota, Llinás is one of those few architects who always, and regardless of the circumstances, gives us "hare instead of cat", when not a gift hen too.
