En Blanco 30 is devoted to the Norwegian studio Reiulf Ramstad Arkitekter, one of the most influential practices in contemporary Scandinavian architecture. Through a carefully curated selection of projects, the publication explores how the studio establishes a precise and powerful relationship between architecture, landscape, and spatial experience.

The issue gathers projects of different scales and programs that reveal the studio’s design approach: from territorial interventions related to Norway’s National Tourist Routes to cultural buildings and residential developments. Among them are the Trollstigen National Tourist Route, the landscape intervention in Selvika, the Stjørdal Cultural Center, and the residential complex Pilestredet 77–79 in Oslo.

Across these works, the studio’s ability to engage with the specific conditions of each place becomes evident. Architecture is conceived as a mediation between territory and human experience, using materials and geometries that resonate with landscape, topography, and local building traditions.

Founded in Oslo in 1995 by Reiulf Ramstad, the studio has gained international recognition through an architecture that combines conceptual clarity, constructional precision, and a deep sensitivity to the natural environment. Their projects are characterized by strong spatial qualities and a particular attention to movement, landscape, and perception.

This issue of En Blanco offers a comprehensive view of Reiulf Ramstad Arkitekter’s work, showing how their architecture operates between formal abstraction and a profound connection with the Norwegian territory.
