MIGUEL A. ALONSO DEL VAL
Urban Architect (1979) and Doctor of Architecture (1983) with Extraordinary Awards from the School of Architecture of the University of Navarra. Master of Science in Architecture & Building Design, Columbia University N.Y. (1985). Professor (ETSAM) and Ordinary of Projects (ETSAUN), Director of the Department of Projects of the ETSAUN (1990-1993) and currently Director of its Doctorate Program in Architecture. Lecturer at numerous Spanish Schools and Colleges of Architects, he has been Visiting Professor at the University of Arizona (Tucson), Diploma Unit 4 (AA London) and at the UPC (Barcelona), UPM (Madrid), Universidade da Coruña (A Coruña) , Universidad del Istmo (Guatemala), ITESM, La Salle and UNAM (Mexico). Researcher in the fields of contemporary architecture, project theory and sustainable urbanism.
RUFINO J. HERNÁNDEZ MINGUILLÓN
Urban Architect (1982) and Doctor of Architecture (1991) from the School of Architecture of the University of Navarra. Researcher on "New Techniques in Light Construction" at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (1988), Master in Building and Specialist in Building Systems, Organization and Construction Technology (1993). Adjunct Professor (ETSAUN) and Professor of Construction at the ETSA of San Sebastián, University of the Basque Country. He has been Deputy Director of the "Building Master" Program (1991-96) and Director of the "Edificación-RE Magazine" of ETSAUN, Pamplona (1995-01). Researcher in the fields of active light and sensitive enclosures, industrialized construction and thermo-energy behaviors of the enclosure, collaborator by the CSCAE for the elaboration of the CTE, in the areas of security and habitability.
