For Dominique Perrault, the incessant transformation of spaces has as a consequence the increase of its complexity, its disparity, its expansion and its density, although it cannot be satisfied with a single architecture, whose terminology would be summarized in a few words: "walls, doors, facades and ceilings". Since then, his work consists of thinking of architecture as an entire element of the landscape: for Perrault, "the material of architecture today is not inexorably glass, concrete, metal, but space as it exists, as it infiltrates and just as it is circulating".
“Through his built work, his projects and his thought, Dominique Perrault has created unique place for himself in the world of contemporary architecture. He is Young by the standards of the highest level of his profession and it is clear that he will more and more be considered done of the outstanding figures of his generation”.
