This monograph by TC Cuadernos is dedicated to the work of Portuguese team called Menos é Mais: the architects Cristina Guedes and Francisco Vieira de Campos. Both share professional office in Porto since 1991, and both were collaborators of the two Portuguese Masters: Cristina collaborated with Alvaro Siza and Francisco with Eduardo Souto de Moura.
The volume contains all the recent production of these architects of Porto, from their single-family houses to industrial buildings, always with the same level of quality and an approach every time unique to the problems they must solve.

In the words of the architect Nuno Grande: "This creative couple, rather than the final object, are concerned above all with the conceptual and technological processes that lead to it, which explains their special predilection for the methods of industrial design, prefabrication , prototyping or assembly of components. That’s why they chose the name 'Less is More', not because they feel completely imbued with the stylistic epithet by Mies van der Rohe - which illustrates the current 'minimalist' tendencies in architecture - but mainly because they are interested in exploring this ethical reduction of architectural design to the 'infra' level. Their architectures are, as we have described, infra-structures, and the 'less' is not here ‘more'; but it is ‘all’".
