In the 20th century, more Science than Arts – it appears that we still do not have all the answers, and so perhaps this is why we continue to build religious architecture, hence this synthetic journey through its sacred architecture.
This is done with three levels of analysis of these places that are always symbolic.
One: relative to architectural space that renews the imaginary through its essential elements.
Two: relative to the light and the image of transforming the liturgy into entertainment for the masses.
Three: relative to the tactile dimension the passage of time exhibits. For what is the architecture of the transcendent? Perhaps what returns to the elements: earth (matter), air (space), water (time) and fi re (light), allowing man to look inside himself.
