34 Social Housing. Bondy, France

One project of 34 housing, a block surrounded by a fitness center, a school and a whole sector of houses facing the avenue Henri Barbusse.  In the background, the neighborhood of the 50 HLM was object of destruction.

The challenge for the social rental Groupe 3F is to relocate 34 families near his old neighborhood but according to a renovated housing scenario. We went from the block to the small collective, a building of two fl oors + attic U-shaped with a courtyard playing “school yard 3rd Republic” or farm school. This image of the project as a great house is also due to its dual-slope roof.
