Architecture and sustainability (II)
To speak of sustainability in architecture is to speak of Form and Matter, it is to enter into the relationships that exist between the world of ideas, concepts and that of results, of architectural production. It is talking about the relationship between art and science, between form and technique, between poetics and construction, two apparently divergent but clearly complementary and necessarily intertwined processes. The first associated with creation, intuition, unconscious synthesis, poetry, the second linked to rationality, deductive thinking, and consciousness.
