The monograph offers a transversal look at the professional career of Antonio Escario (Albacete, 1935), analyzing in detail his prolific architectural production over more than five decades.
Special mention should be made of the Archaeological Museum of Albacete (1968) and the Oratory of San Felipe Neri, an authentic debut by the architect, built in 1963. The text meticulously dissects foreign references to “Los Filipenses” such as the Notre Dame-du Haut chapel de Ronchamp -Corbu-, the Unitariam Church of Shorewood Hills -Wright- or the renowned wing roofs of Félix Candela in Coyoacán (Nuestra Señora del Altillo) or Havana.
