Marc Barani is a French architect whose work has consistently explored the relationship between architecture, infrastructure, and territory. Through his practice, Atelier Marc Barani, based in Nice, he has developed an architectural approach characterized by constructive precision, attention to landscape, and a careful integration of buildings within complex urban and territorial contexts.

Educated in Paris and Rome, Barani has developed projects across a wide range of scales, including urban infrastructures, cultural facilities, and institutional architecture. Among his most recognized works are the Nice tramway station, the Palace of Justice in Aix-en-Provence, the Nancy Convention Centre – Centre Prouvé, and the National School of Photography in Arles.

His architecture is distinguished by a rigorous approach to structure and materiality, as well as by a strong sensitivity to the relationship between built space and landscape.
