JAVIER DURÁN
Architect from the University of Cuenca, Postgraduate in Project and Construction Management and Advanced Studies Diploma from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.
He is a professor at the University of Cuenca and Director of the Master of Architectural Projects at the same university.
He is Visiting Professor at the Entwerfen II / III Chair at Bochum University of Applied Sciences.
In 2005 and with María Augusta Hermida he founded the office DURÁN & HERMIDA arquitectos Asociados.
He was President of the Colegio de Arquitectos del Azuay from 2007 to 2009.
He was Director of the Physical Planning Unit of the University of Cuenca from 2008 to 2016.
M. AUGUSTA HERMIDA
Architect from the University of Cuenca and Doctor from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in Architectural Projects.
She is Rector of the University of Cuenca and main professor at the same university.
In 2005 and with Javier Durán she founded the office DURÁN & HERMIDA arquitectos Asociados.
She was Director of the A0 Magazine and of the PROYECTOS Magazine of the Colegio de Arquitectos del Azuay and President of the Academic Commission.
