Arquitecturas Contemporáneas. Colombia

39 SANTIAGO PRADILLA + ZULOARK Casa Tejida is an experimental dwelling linked to a coffee plantation in Vereda Fical, Nocaima, Colombia. More than a constructed object, it is conceived as a physical and social fabric, involving the community in its design and construction. Situated in a rural environment with difficult access, the house responds to the topography without major earthworks, optimising solar orientation and creating two distinct gardens. Inspired by pre-Hispanic stilted architecture, its structural system combines wooden truss modules with columns that evolve over time. The construction process was a collective learning experience, bringing together master builders, young people from the community, students and architects. Priority was given to local materials and adapted traditional techniques, such as the weaving of natural fibres used in the sheathing. Casa Tejida is committed to architecture with a low environmental impact, exploring prefabricated solutions with a high degree of craftsmanship. It rejects concrete as the only option and promotes certified wood for more livable and sustainable construction. From open design to digital fabrication, the project is comprehensible and replicable, allowing everyone to participate. Its spatiality blurs the boundaries between indoors and outdoors in a gesture that strengthens the connection with biodiversity and redefines the idea of home. !"#$%&'(%&'$)*+,&)#,+&'%'-#,".#(%.'+,'(%'#/.% !"#$% &'#()"*+' ,-+(.' /0#%.% 5(67+(.' :6,)#';<=> =?@<< A'<= A.B6)"+-"6.% 3(%,"%'$+'C#-%()D%-)E, N
