Zumiriki. Project processes around observation, dwelling and memory

This publication collects a teaching experience carried out in the spring semester of 2021 in the context of the subject Architectural Projects 2 of the Degree in Studies in Architecture of the University from Saragossa.

As in a previous analogous experience (Emak Bakia!, TC, 2015), the exercise is based on the documentary film Zumiriki (2019), by the Navarrese independent film director Oskar Alegria. An intense autobiographical journey to memory, time and place of childhood has served as a pretext to immerse himself in the rich and sensitive universe of our character and propose him, as a result of that same deep introspection and observation, a new habitable place that gives it forms —thanks to the architect's own tools— these experiential and vital universes until perhaps conquering, once again, that lost place.
