The diverse environment combining industrial premises and houses was a determining factor. This opportunity resulted in our designing of a spiral-shaped building surrounding a patio that distributes the rooms and is closed to the exterior. The distribution corresponding with uses and levels favours the sunlight over the patio and helps distinguish two focal points; the south-facing area on a floor and the north-facing occupational zone on two floors. The deciduous trees and the canopies in the patio preserve the south-facing glazed facade.
The red ceramic flooring of the patio is surrounded by grey striped bricks and sheets with the same texture but a lighter hue of grey. Materials: Grey extruded bricks arranged vertically in broken lines, grey aluminium sheets with the same texture in a lower hue and red ceramic paving stones for the internal patio. Grey ceramic slab for the roofing.
