Estudio lamela

Estudio Lamela, also known as Lamela Architects, was founded in 1954 by Antonio Lamela and is currently led by his son, Carlos Lamela. Throughout its existence, the studio has steadily grown, expanding its global presence with offices in Madrid, Warsaw, Mexico City, and Doha.

The firm employs a team of over 80 professionals working on a variety of architectural projects. While quality and excellence are goals pursued by the firm, there is also an interest in collaborating with other architectural studios to learn, share knowledge, and provide a multidisciplinary approach to their projects. This reflects an understanding that architecture, like any creative field, benefits from the exchange of ideas and diversity of approaches.

Throughout its history, Estudio Lamela has completed more than 1,600 projects in 32 countries, covering various areas of architectural design: from sports architecture and office spaces to residential, healthcare, hotel design, urban planning, and transport architecture. This range of projects demonstrates the studio's adaptability, taking on design and architectural challenges in different contexts and for various needs.

Some of the studio's most notable projects include the renovation of the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid and Terminal 4 of the Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport. Each of these projects presents unique challenges in terms of design, functionality, and adaptability to the local context, and they have brought international recognition to the firm.

In summary, Estudio Lamela has built a reputation in the field of architecture for its adaptive and collaborative approach. With a global presence and a diverse body of work, the studio aims to continue contributing to the field of architecture through its work and its multidisciplinary approach.
